The Sun and the Shadow

 

A young traveler once asked an elder, “Why does the sun shine even when no one is watching?”

 

The elder smiled. “Because it doesn’t shine for approval—it shines because that’s what it is.”

 

The traveler thought for a moment. “But what about the clouds? The storms? The night?”

 

The elder nodded. “The sun is always shining, even when you can’t see it. And so are you. Clouds pass. Darkness fades. But the sun? The sun remains.”

 

Moral of the Story: Your shine isn’t temporary. It’s who you are.
